Hello all,
My hands are already green but I am just starting out learning how to grow cannabis as a hobby and would like a helping hand.
The Logistics:
Grow Tent 2x2x4
Lights 1000w LED w/bloom and veg switch
Light Cycle 18/6 (8am-12am)
Grow Type: DWC ( 7 gallon tote with 1 air stone)
PH 5-6
Nutrients: Flora Series
Temp 80-90 F
Backstory
My young one here is female and was originally seeded in soil on 6/13/20. Germinated, and true leaves sprouted 6/18. At first I wasn't really tying to learn, just wanted to grow, so the grow medium was a mixture of soil from home depot i had around and some organic compost. (my guess is the nutrient contents were too high in the soil which stunted the growth) The week of 7/19 i started to do research and wanted to really understand what i was doing and with that, switch my whole set up to a hydro grow.
The young one was planted into mason jar. initally the roots were small and i did not know why. But upon switching to the hydro, the roots started to grow. With my plant being a week in the jar and showing progress in the root development, I moved her into the 7 gal tote. The roots and overall plant has been improving since then.
So at week 9 the plant is fairly small, but now growing. My question is, should I put it down or let it grow out.
Side note: I started a new seed this week of the same strain. I'm doing everything correct with the help of YT so this seedling can have a better life cycle.
