Just tried Lst, need advice

My best plant naturally grew two main shoots, a couple days ago i tied em both apart, And started to grow horizontally, This plant has sooooooo much side branching and i'm manipulating the leafs and growring tips so that all the side branches are now facing up towards the light, With two main growing tips either side and probably 16+ through the middle of the plant,I realise that these will grow to be nice juicy nugs....How Many nodes should i let the side branches get before flowering?I was thinking maybe 3 or 4, That should give me a decent yield.....

What do you guys think?

My other plant i tied over only has one main growing tip and about 6 or 7 side branches which im doing my best to manipulate up to face the top of the light, both are doing great(I don't know the sex of this plant just yet though) I think its female as its pretty crystally and resinous.

I had another female in there but i put her on the sill cuz she was taking up too much room and she was growing all retarded....I have a seedling in there too which i have stress trained, but this too is taking up valuable room and i don't know what to do with it....

I'm using a 250w hps in a very small 4foot high 3 foot wide 2 foot deep space, all walls are mylar'd and i have a small oscillating fan blowing on the plants all day while the lights are on......

Haven't fed nutes yet, Just transplanted my babies into new soil not so long ago and the soil has a good bit of nutrients in it so i didn't reckon i would have to feed em as of yet, they don't show any signs of deficiency anyway so its all good....

I water around twice a week with 6.5 ph water......

Oh and this is my first grow!!

you will do good with a 5-6 node LST plant... make sure it gets good light!

Another question i have is, When i put them into 12/12, do they continue to make more nodes?I have a bit of a height issue, which makes me thing i will have to train the side branches aswel as the main growing tips.....

I checked this morning and It looks like i have over 20 tops, all only on their first-second node at the moment.....

I think i'm going to tie my baby over a bit more, and when the side branches are a bit bigger i'll tie them over too and let the whole plant bush out before growing it upwards, That should save me a couple inches.

I'll try to get pics

Yes they will continue to grow new nodes.
Someone else asked this same question in another thread & someone told the guy no that they stop at 2 weeks into flowering which is nonsense.

Thats good to hear, So if i flower when all of my side branched have 3-4 nodes, They could end up finishing with alot more?

Any idea what kinda yield i will get? I know its a nooby question but its my first grow and have no idea what to expect, Would it be reasonable to expect 4 ounces off my best female??She's got around 20 tops if not more, some are on their first node, some are on the second, and i reckon i will be letting her veg for another 2 weeks before i flower her sexy ass!

She's starting to get nice n smelly!!n sticky too!

How old are your plants. I don't go by counting nodes as to when to flower you totally lost me there.

It depends how much room you have . They will keep growing while they are flowering so keep that in mind.
I usually flowering mine after about 3 months vegging but most people aren't willing to wait that long and end up flowering babies.

Don't let final weight count be your motivation. Your motivation should be to have the healthy plants you can get.

I dont have alot of vertical height which is why I am trying Lst,My best female is about a month old and would have been about 10 inches if i hadn't tied her down,She is verrrrryyyy bushy though!!, i have one other plant who is looking great in there but i'm not sure if its a girl or not, its more resinous than my female who has shown sex though, so i doubt its male, Along with those too i also got a seedling in there.....

I reckon i will veg for another 10days -2 weeks before i put them into flower so she will be under the light 6 weeks at that stage and had been living on a windowsill for about a week before that, I had a lowryder2 in there but it turned out to be male so i Murdered him....

Outside my grow room i got a retarded female on the windowsill, It was taking up too much room and not growing properly so i thought it would be better to remove it and save space.....

what do you usually get from your plants that are vegged for 3 months?Mine are indica dominant btw i think!

Thanks. Well I do a lot of plants at a time. My last outdoor grwo I got about 1 1/2 pounds.

My last indoor grow I got close to 1/2 lb/

Yeah i wouldn't mind a harvest like that at all, Please teach me your ways oh master lacy!!,

I'm hoping for about 3-4 ounces off my best female(Although it probably wont happen =( ) And about 1.5-2 off my other plant if its a fem, I dunno how the seedling is gonna turn out......Would be great if i got a half lb but i know i'm just dreaming=(
