Hello,
This is Timothy and Jessica. This is our first time growing, we have read a lot about lighting and we were just wondering if these lights are suitable? They're originally for a fish tank, and if we can save a lot of money we would like to use them. Our set up is in our closet. The Grow box is 31"x12"x12" but, the width can be adjusted to 19" and the height about 2ft. We are going to be having about 3-4 plants.
They do get pretty hot, we have not done a test run yet of how hot the closet will get when the lights are on its cycle. Tomorrow we will picking up a digi therm. and also a timer. By friday or Saturday we should have a reading of the temps.
