KC Jones

So ive been picking up a strain i had never ran into before called KC Jones (The way they named it was pretty clever). I finally got the full strain name today after all he called it was KC (Making me think maybe it was a cheese). I looked up its bloodline so to speak and i saw trainwreck east coast deisel and Thai. Something about this strain though.... the smell of it. I dont mind the smell or taste when im smoking it but when i open my jar to pull some out or when i bought it fresh it just has this smell.... idk It kind of makes me not want to smoke it i know there is nothing wrong with it at all but i was just wondering do other people have those experiences with other strains that just dont appeal to them?

I cant pin point it, it has no resemblance anything ive ever smoked. It has a lavander-ish taste similar to some Blue Jamaican haze but not as strong. The smell itself gets really intense at the end of breathing in that just makes me want to not smell that any more. I know its weird but im curious.

I've had KC Jones from a Santa Cruz Dispensary before. It had a very green look with bright orange hairs. Sativa dominant. Had a lime sherbert kind of flavor. Sour/sweet. Decent high for sure that wasn't a couch lock. Difficult to roll with but good for pipe or bong hits.

I'd give it a 7/10.

Had this sour diesel cross that was so pungent everytime I grabbed a nug and gave her a smell I could feel my stomach turn....got me ridiculously high though.

i've grown stuff that i didn't care for the smell of. perfect example is the mr nice kush x haze cross i recently harvested. i loved, and i mean LOVED the flavor and the high. it tasted sort of like coffee and chocolate with an earthy undertone, real nice. it smelled exactly like melted plastic. it was almost horrifying. but i MOURNED that strain when it was gone let me tell you. the sharksbreath i grew had both a smell and taste i didn't care for but it got me stoned so i smoked it. strains that taste like crap can be cut with nicer tasting strains. i would mix the sharksbreath with the pineapple chunk and holy shit what a smoke. i don't think you're weird at all.

I think you pin pointed it. It literally does that to me, and why i as confused was because i had NYC Diesel before but that was orangish.

I love it!!! It's similar to drinking wine except you are connoisseurs of cannabis. Eveyone's reaction to the same strain could be similar or totally different.

some shit just comes out different because of the grower...the growing process and the curing process....i had kc jones from 3 different growers they are were different.....
