Keep deer away from my plants

Hey, I've got some plants I am about to put outdoors here in a couple of days. I've got some 4ft by 50ft fencing/chicken wire from lowes that I am thinking about using. If I cut out some portions of the fencing, bend it into circles (with about a 4-6 ft diameter) and tie them off into that shape, would this be good to put around each of my outdoor plants? My biggest worry is deer or other rodents messing with the plants. Do you think this is the best method to keep my plants safe from animals? Anyone else use this method? I know its probably too much work if you have a bunch of outdoor plants, but I only have a few and I need to keep them safe. The only drawback I can see is this possibly calling attention to the plants, although I know of noone that goes around my spot.

On another note, the lighting schedule outdoors right now is about to go over the 14/10 mark. Should this be enough light to keep most of the plants in veg you think?? They are only about 3 weeks old, working on their 7th nodes (only 4-5 inches tall/very bushy). I'm hoping they will keep vegging and hopefully each will nearly fill up the fencing that they are in by the end of the summer.

where do u live i was hungry for deer anyway.

i think they wont mess with it with a fence around but that draws attention.

I live in NC. I'm really weighing whether its worth the exposure to put the fencing around it. Noone goes out there, but still I can't afford to have them spotted before harvest this October. I might just keep the fencing around them until they get some size on them. Right now they are still small (only ~3 weeks old).

Once they hit flower the deer wont touch em. I use dog piss, dog hair spread around the area, deer repelent spray all over the plants, deer repelent granules around the base of each one. I hate the fucking deer. I would avoid a fence at all costs, some deer can jump over an 8ft high fence anyways. Just plan on losing about 1/4 to 1/2 of ur outdoor plants to bad weather, and deer, etc.... Then if u dont lose that many u will b happy.

human hair works as well. dont use the fence it will bring unwanted attention.
