I usually make my own or use Fox Farm soils, but I decided to try Miracle Gro so I could have my own opinion. I hear some people love it, most hate it. well I now belong to the latter.
After transplanting into MG, my plant started a slow decline. The high amount of ammonia nitrate and urea was wayyy to hot for it handle. normally this can be corrected with a flush, but being packed full of water soluble nutes this wasn't an option. I let the soil dry out before watering again, but this didn't help either. So in my opinion, do not put your ladies in shit soil, or you will get shit results. Some people have had decent results, but it's a gamble. Stick to a rich mixture of proper admendments, and stay away from the chemical garbage. It's nice to be able to feed your plants when they need it, rather than releasing an unknown amount everytime you water.
