Keeping a Mother in Veg

Allright, where to begin. I'm working with a small set up, the ceiling is only five feet tall. Even with no height, I still have quite alot of space to work with. This is my first grow, got a clone from my friend and slowly have been sucked in. He called the strain Infinity, he made up the name since he didn't really know. All I can tell is it's predominately Indica. What I am trying to find out is how long could I keep my Mother plant that's used for cloning in vegetative state.

I've been told by wounding, or topping the plant as I do for clones, that I revert the plant back into Vegetative state. But wouldn't this weaken the plant over time making for difficult clones?

Here's a picture of my mother, she has had six cuttings taken, five of which have lived.

you can keep the mom in veg forever. the only time taking clones can do any real harm to a plant is when its in the flowering stage. it can shock the plant and cause hermies but since your leaving your mother in veg you avoid that problem. she'll just keep replacing what you cut off from now until "infinity"
