keeping plants short

how would i go about keeping my plants short, like a 1-2 foot maximum height?

Keep the light as close as you can without inducing heat/light stress. LST to create a canopy if you veg for a long time.

any other ways? i dont grow indoors. its an outdoor plant.

Oh...yea just tie the bitch down make a hedge instead. If you use a rope of sorts make sure you adjust it for the growth or else it will girdle the stem (choke). I would prolly push it down with some wire. like bend wire into a U and put it deep into the dirt.

outdoors the only way to keep it short is a smaller pot say 1-3gallon and lst, basically bend the bitch over, also topping or FIM will help slow vertical growth and will also give you more colas/bud-sites = higher yield

I dont wrap the string all the way around just take a sting poke a hole in the pot tie the string through the hole and then just bend it over bring the string over the stem and then tape it to the side of the pot. I use tape so that the plant can still pull up on the string only thing is you have to keep pulling the string down but I find that it make your stems a lot stronger this way. you could also get two sticks and attach them to the pot in an X and then top for 4 tops and tie each top over to each end of the sticks you would get a lot of bud-sites this way.
