Kellogg soil - which is best for cannabis?

Longtime user of Ocean Forest/Happy Frog, but most of the hydro and grow shops around here have closed down, and it's hard to find, except like at Home Depot, where the price per bag is astronomical, about 10 bucks more per bag than what I'd get it for at hydro shops.

Kellogg has good reviews, it's cheap, and easily found. In googling it looks like someone recommended the patio mix, but they have tons of others as well. Also, and thoughts on EB Stone soil?

For context, this is for an outdoor grow in pots

I've been buying a few bags for outdo plants. First bag I got was fuckin mulch, threw it in the compost. Got a few different bags since. Not a fan of it out of the bag. The half decent ones I got had salt based nutrients in it, if organic is important to you.

Just buy peat and a big bag of perlite and some compost. Mix it up and go for it. I had to do that in Texas getting a grow together for a friend. Peat is cheap as hell. pH is around 4.5. Just dump feedings from tapwater in.

Or add coco. Sunshine 4 Advanced contains coco and doesn’t need additional perlite.

I like the Kellogg's Palm Cactus and Citrus because it doesn't have any peat, nor does it have any added lime. The bags I've been buying this year at my local distributor in SoCal are a nice shade of black or dark brown, well rotted, unlike prior years.

Some of us think peat is the kiss of death! (see figure 1, 2, and 3 on PDF page 17 & 18 ). "No peat" is a filter which rules out many to most brands of potting mix.

Bought a bunch of Kellogg raised garden soil for our normal garden (tomatoes, veggies etc) in containers/raised bed. Went to a different hydro shop since most nearby are out of business, you'd think during the pandemic they'd get more business.
Got bags of Ocean forest $17. Last hydro place I used to get them at was 22$ each, and Lowes + Home Depot have them for almost $30. Crazy!
