Foxfarm Ocean Forest mixed with perlite and humus
1st week and 1/2 for Mkage, 3days for the tangerine dream (It says lsd cause the seed died on me)

Haha, at least I didn't skimp on what counts, the heating and the wiring. The sockets are actually rated for the wattage and it is hooked up to a surge protection outlet of 1000 joules. Heat was an issue at first but the 2 fans bring it down to 35.5 degrees Celsius. Still hot but the best I can do as of now.

Subbed for this. I have a h350 magenta too but I am using it with my 200w led. Only got to use the kessil for 3 weeks or so last round, but will be using from start of flowering this time around. Excited to use for a full bloom cycle. Good luck!

The tangerine dreams cotyledons are starting to yellow at the tips and die. The set of leaves above are a lighter shade of green than the top set so I'm guessing nitrogen def. from overwatering. Haha noobie mistake.

I hope you have more space available - those 2 plants are going to go mad under that Kessil light, you don't have room for one plant and you have 2 in there.

So I ran into my first major problem and as a result, the tangerine dream was killed. :( A couple days ago I decided to add a beneficial microbe tea that I had 'activated' with some molasses and an airstone. I drenched the soil with it but my dumbass forgot to ph the solution. The next morning I find the oldest set of leaves on each plant dying so I checked ph on runoff. It was at 3.6 so then I tried to remedy that with some ph up, then decided that was too much of a hassle and just transplanted. Tangerine Dream couldnt handle the shock and just withered away. Thankfully Mkage is still here and I just pulled a Blueberry Gum I had in another grow to this one.

Hey BBB,

Cool setup!

I am running an H350 with four 100 watt 6500K CFLs. I had to pull the Kessil back further because it was frying the plant! Here is what the Malawi is looking like now:

Mohican, that is some crazy growth there. How long did you veg it for and have you switched over to 12/12? I would love to see that girl in full bloom. Yea, I have noticed that my plants dont light being too close to the kessil and have since raised the lights. Both plants have been bouncing back from transplant shock but they seemed to have finally rooted up. Ill post pics up when I can. Gl to you and happy growing. Oh and pne more question: U got the deep purple or the magenta? It looks like magenta but I could be wrong...

Hey Mr Binks - Day 76 of Veg (long story) and yes it is a Magenta. That is why I am supplementing with 6500K CFLs.
