kush stone versus afghani?

is there a difference? i DESPISE the body locking stone of even 25% afghani skunk #1, but among the 1st beans i ordered, i got some troublemakers (hindu kush x masterkush) that surprised me by being potent & euphoric, but not at all "indica" in their stone. i've always wondered about that. it was no stonier than skunk #1 to me and possibly even LESS so which makes no sense if it's a 100% indica. i saw someone mention a "kush stone" in another smoke report that sounded more mellow & blissed out than can't do shit stoned.

i'd actively seek sativa hybrids that have kush instead of afghani in them if they aren't TRULY couchlocking. i'd then redirect all of my global contempt for all things indica to all things afghani (except the people... i don't know any afghani people LOL)

is there a difference? i'd considered buying troublemaker for breeding after being impressed with it in testing, but now that i've lost a $120 order from doc and heard he's turned sketchy, that ain't gonna happen, but i'd consider whichever of the kushes it's bred from that's most energetic if kush buzzes are more just mellow than tiring or heavy.

In my experience 'Kush' can be sedating or stimulating or usually both imo. I just finished a pure Afghan Indica, Ancient Afghan, and find it makes me get up and go, so..... I have another different Afghan, Maple Leaf Indica which is mixed, no couchlock but no real energized feeling either.

I used to smoke Pure Kush and it mostly laid me back kinda mellow, but sometimes it would amp me up right after toking. The Kush in general are not real indica heavy so I think you could find something there. Master Kush has some sativa in it by breeding, and as I understand it, Kush is a mixed sativa and indica plant. It is called a pure indica by most here in the US, but those that have studied the Afghan plants tend to classify it as a hybrid. There are plenty of Sativa plants in Afghanistan, they are not all indica over there as some think.
