l.e.d problems..?

um, we orderd two l.e.d growlamps, one ufo 90w, and one panel 120w. these came with british powerplugs, so were using some kindof converter to get them into the wall here (denmark)
however, only a bit more than half of the lights are lighting up, and its not randomly, but just half circle, n half of the panel.. what might this be cause of? can it be that little converter? the store we got it from, do NOT seem very reliable at all, seeing how we first orderd from another place, wich still havent send us the lamps eventhough they keep saying they will... but this new place knew exacly what place we had placed this first order n, its just very fishy, he now says we should send the lamps back, n he will return the money cus were questioning his services... is it possibly some kind of scam? sending us halfworking lamps, apologizing, we return them, dont get any money back n never hear from him again?
to me it seems like a weird error when it is both lamps. unless its the converter thing, but we got two new converters from the shop yesterday, n they still only light up half.... any suggestions? thnx

Yeah, sounds like a wiring issue. somewhere the circuit is shorting out or just no making contact. If you have a mulitmeter, you can do some diagnostics and find out if it is a simple fix. Below is a how to led light video to give you some understanding of wiring

Hope that helps

thank you bigdave! im not sure what the guy who put together these lamps was upto.. he didnt really connect all the wires but the lamp was also sealed, breaking the seal would take away the warrenty, but he stoped answering a long time ago, so we wast realy counting on any help from him anyways.
well.. even i can figure out its not all gonna work if u let some wires be out in the air... apparently the guy who put them together couldnt.
they seem to be working fine now anyways :) thnx for the video
