L.E.D Wiring Question..Thank you...

Hey so i took a 3.5w L.E.D Mogul Socket Light bulb apart, and ripped it down to its wires (ripped the mogul screw in part off), and im trying to use it for a micro grow, so question is...can i just use a straight 120v AC power source for it?

I wouldnt, it needs to stepped down with an adapter. L.E.D.'s need to be mounted on a circuit board to work right. Do you have a picture of what you have there ?
