l.e.d's are thay good for growing????

i am new at growing and want to know the advantages of having an l.e.d light setup has anyone ever used? or should i stick with cfl's

I've been looking about at these two - you just have to watch the comparison vids about on youtube etc to see they are no competition to CFL's or HPS and MH. What I was wondering is are they worth using in conjunction with the above. You can buy one set up of about 1000 leds that are suspended in like a random net. ie if you stretched it across the room it would dangle lots of LED's throughout your plants. You couldn't even get CFL's anything like as close as these LEDS and with them being so small you they get into awkward positions. It would be good to see a comparison between two identical set ups but one having the "extra advantage" of one of these LED set ups with it.

thx u guys i was pretty stoned last night and started looking at them and from what they said it sounded good they had blue and red spec. and give off almost no heat and take almost no electicity which is a big factor for me that is why i cant use a hps or i would. i have some planewreck started but i let my friend take care of it and he put it under a halogen for a week. yea i know dumb thing to do. anyway now it is really streched out but i got some cfls on it now and it is doing better
