I replaced the 4x12 phresh filter with a new 4x8 phresh filter in the fridge and made a lot of space
I also picked up a temperature controller and a 60W thermoelectric air-to-air cooling unit to experiment with. I'm powering it with a 12VDC, 15A power supply. The maximum draw is 7 amps, so my PS won't be working much at all.
I'm not sure how well the thermoelectric cooler will work, so this will be fun to mess with for the next couple weeks since I'm basically waiting until after my vacation before I start any more girls. If it looks like it might work, I'll even pick up a second cooling unit. I'm hoping to make more efficient use of my CO2, and kill all ventilation when gas is on. Right now, I have it so that 2 of 3 intake and exhaust fans turn off. So, my fridge slowly heats up over a 15 minute interval when gas is on and then cools back off (in ~1 min) for the next 15 mins when gas is off and all fans are on. If I can use the air to air cooler (or coolers?) to maintain the same rate of temperature rise with the intake fan off, then I'll be happy. If I can maintain stable temps with no intake or exhaust, I'll be super happy. Then I can just periodically vent the fridge for fresh air, and save lots of CO2.
