I've made a few threads tailored to the areas / light setup I had going at the time...and they pretty much became obsolete once I upgraded. For instance, I posted a CFL grow in the CFL section, but have upgraded to HPS / MH so don't really fit in there anymore. I figure I should make a generalized thread so that no matter how I choose to grow my plants, they will be properly categorized

For now, my vegging area is two sterilite bins stacked on top of each other:
And I have a tent + 400 hps that I will be using for flowering. Some plants will run 12/12 from seed in the tent, and others will be vegged out in the bins first, and then transferred to the flowering tent with the 12/12 from seed plants.
The dimensions on the tent are 4'x4'x6.5. Am using a 240 CFM inline fan for exhaust, and I won't be using any filtering (not needed).
Have placed a water bottle at the bottom of the tent in the next pic so that you have something to compare it to....
And I will be using Lotus CFLs...
125 watt, 625 watt equivalent, dual spectrum:
