Las Vegas gardening

I've been gardening in the desert for a while, but I'm getting more serious about my grow. I have a 10x20 outdoor garden with great organic soil made from MY chickens and mulch pile.
My mother plants are fruity pebbles and star killer. These are cloned from last year. I'm hoping by keeping them going like this will help climatize them . I think I'll take 10 clones each and go from there.
Pro, temps stay good until December, I've had fresh tomatos for Christmas!
Problem, it's 100 plus degrees. The heat has stunted my grows before.
I need ideas to help with heat and stunting, I plant to put them in the ground aug 21 during the eclipse. Check out the pics, bring on the comments. Anybody grow in the desert, outdoors?

I have a buddy who gardens in 100-105 degree weather, she says she waters every other day no matter what. I saw some pics of her garden and her stuff is really nice and is more then healthy. Good luck, would love to start watching a vegas out door plant do her thing!!!!!!!!

Hi Im in Silverado!

Ive grown in the summer here, you have to water so it cools via evaporation.
Havent tried in ground as i would think it would get less oxygen and sun from the start (shade from walls, other plants, etc on the ground level).
When it hits 115-120 is when things go to shit, Im contemplating a green house with shade cloth over it. like 40% blockage ones they sell on amazon just for a few weeks when it gets too crazy hot.
What have you experienced lately?
The other major issues is we have almost no humidity, from what i read this closes the pores and stunts growth.

Solar powered 12v mist maker in bucket fed with irrigation line/manual in green house covered with some shade cloth (only to protect noon angle of powerful sun) and 12v fan powered by solar panel blowing fog into green house?
