last week of harvest

my last day til i harvest is this saturday and i had a couple of questions:

im doing indoor soil and haven't flushed my crop in over a month. would it be a good idea to keep feeding my crop nutrients until saturday and then use "clearex" for 3 days to flush the nutrients out.?

i also wanted to know if giving the plants 48 hours of darkness before cutting makes a big difference in the thc level.

my last question has to do with the temperature of my room. i usually keep it around 76 deg. f at all times. however, yesterday i was away and had a good friend of mine come turn my light on at 8PM because the digital timer that i had bought earlier in the day was giving me problems. i got home around 1 am to a room that was 100 deg. f because my friend forgot to turn on the a/c when he turned the light on. this is the second time my room has reached that temperature this month. being less than a week from harvest, how will this affect my bud(which is an indica btw)?

thanks for anyt and all input.

The longer the flush, the better. You risk it by pushing that far. Depending on your nutes, I would start flushing instead of feeding.

I cut just at the end of their light cycle at night. You can give them dark time as well. Depends on how ansy you are to harvest.

As long as it only happens two times, you should be ok. Did it show any damage (ie burnt leaves)? It's obviously not good and may have slightly stunted the buds but at this point it probably didn't do too much harm.

definitely flush as long as possible with distilled water. Just fill up a pitcher and sit it in the grow room 24-hrs before watering. After 24hrs it will be distilled and also be the same temp. as your plants/soil.

The plant should have been able to handle the heat just fine, just make sure it doesn't fluctuate too much.

As far as the 48 hrs of darkness before cutting, I cannot say because I have never tried it personally. So I can't really tell you if it helps or hurts. Once I know the plant is finally done, I cut it at the end of the next dark cycle.

Good Luck!

thanks trev and green b for the advice.

the leave tips are crispy and look burnt but i was told that this was due to the plant using all it's nutrient uptake on the flower rather than the fan leaves so it's hard to tell. however, the first time i let my room get too hot my plants baked for 3 times as long as this most recent time.

i just bought a 1 L jug of CLEAREX and plan to start using it tonight on throughout the rest of flowering until i harvest.

i was also wondering if i could clone a flowering mother right before i cut my plants. the fan leaves are no good but as of right now, there are a bunch of smaller leaves that look healthy enough to clone.
