Ok last year was first time growing .. didnt really know what I was doing someone just gave me 3 plants 8 inches high in middle of june ... did alot of reading and cramming still alot to learn.
My setup last year I used this potting soil vpw 30 (friend suggested it) mixed with some cheap soil in a 20 gallon rubermade (all I had) I put a layer of soil then a layer of bone meal then filled rest with soil... only thing I feed them was a brew of blood meal during veg.
Then i read about scrog (i need to keep plants low) 4 plants legal here just worried about theft.
My screen was 4 feet x 12 feet (3 plants)
I ran out of screen fast.. in pic every hole was filled.... so looking for thoughts this year since I found this forum.
This year I have 100 gallon fabric pots (mixed reviews if this is to big or not but they were not much more money then the 50 gl)
Going to separate plants this year under their own screen made from hog fence 2x3 squares. Not sure what size to make thinking 4x6 feet ? I know I could just tie down and save time without screen but I enjoy it and like the look.
Thinking of having a 50 gallon drum filled with rain water to make a brew to feed keep it all organic... looking for suggestions on brew or feed.
And what do you guys think of this soil vpw30 soil? ... going to need alot of soil 400 gallons.
Still snow on ground here in nova Scotia so I have time.... strains I'm going to use this year White widow .. blue dream .. jack herer.
