Im getting some late flowering nanners, week 7 now on a few strains. I only just started noticeing them appear a week ago on 1, now as of today im seeing a few getting pushed out of 3 more plants, not many a few atmost and rheir tiny. And i been tweezing them out.

I know these nanners are new cause i always chexk my buds real well al through flowering for nanners and such.
I only have 5-14max days left to go on these strains(all in room) being so late in flowering do i have anythjng to worry abou as far as pollennation and seed production goes? Shouldi keep plucking them off daily or it dosent matter much?

Do i have anything to worry aboiut here? I rly dont want to pull early, the trichomes are only half cloudy half clean on all strains right now

I and many here refuse, to grow hermies for many reasons, as soon as I see a herm ...its of to the compost bin with "IT" as it will just make poor seeds, and screwing up the thc percentage each time, better to dump "IT"

I'd cut now as there may be seeds starting to form which really fucks up the plant matter. I had the same issue this year and a couple of my plants were seeded pretty heavy. I chopped one when I FIRST saw nanners at about 6-7 weeks just to get it out of the grow room. It had seeds and then my other two plants nannered too, about a week later. They all had seeds too even though I chopped right after I discovered nanners. I even had a seed sprout in a pot I just put in there before I chopped!

Its no doubt a bitch and seeds are probably going to permeate at least some of the buds but I dont necessarily agree to automatically pitch 'em especially when they appear late in flower. After all many of us only have the capacity to grow but a few plants at a time and a run can take as long as 5 months to complete. In my case, I've had it happen rather badly in my DNA Chocolope run and they too appeared late in flower. If I had pitched them though, I would be running out of smoke way before the next run is even close to done.
Cleaning some seeds out of bud is by far better than no bud at all. Its also possible that a good number of buds will have no seeds in them at all.

I had a purple kush that did this at about day 62. Some strains do this as a self preservation strategy. I just inspected closely every day and tweezed any I saw (harvested on day 69. I didn't get any seeds from the nanners. Catch them early... Also, it is possible that the sacks will not have pollen in them, as well as the possibility that the pollen is not viable. Plants that herm early in flower are the ones to toss asap IMO. This late I would just ride it out but harvest within 5-7 days just in case.

I am keeping the PK because it is great smoke but will watch it like a hawk next time I grow it...

I'd just keep plucking them and ride it out. You may get a little seedy bud in the end. Who knows you may catch all the nanners in time. You're in the home stretch and the deed is already done. Might as well ride it out and make the best of it. It takes a few weeks to form seeds fully so you should be in the clear with a 14day max.
Just be sure to scrub down your equipment and stuff for the future.

It's really a shame to see credible growers with lots of posts give bad advice. I would never cut it down that late. It can still produce some amazing product. I only say this because my first and only plant started to hermie at 4 weeks flower. Today is first day I have been able to sample it and it is does not disappoint. It filled out nice and is a great smoke, even after plucking hundreds of nanners. Here are some pics to prove it.

I know it's 6 years late but I hope the bozos who said cut it down this late because of a few silly nanners have learned to grow by now. It's not a hermie.
The off to the compost bin comment made me chuckle. Shit, at least make some wax or at least edibles from it!

Where were you in my thread yesterday. I'm having serious anxiety right now since my plant (week 8 today) has some nanners which I plucked, and appears to have the odd seed... I'm concerned about the rest of plants being seeded as they still need 3 weeks. How much are a few nanners (haven't found any clusters) going to seed a tent??

I'm having this same issue. I hit week 8 in a couple days and so far I've plucked around 7 nanners off of a couple different buds. Honestly, going by how tiny they are and the few that I've had so far, im just gonna ride it out and pluck them when I see them. None of mine look like they've been pollinated so im not real worried yet. I have about 2 weeks to go and im not gonna screw that up lol we're going all the way ya dig

Yea I found a few on mine about 15 minutes ago..you can look at a plant now and it'll be different in so many ways a few hours later..anyways..gonna pluck and ride it out..this plant chucked some.monster buds in the 7th week..no reason to chop em up unless you have so much you can't manage it..I think proper set up is crucial to observing the plants and managing them for shit like this..

Obviously right?

Beautiful buds dude. And yeah I just plucked them as I saw them but one day I went in there and found an open one lol. It obviously pollinated but the seeds didn't have near enough time to mature so every now and then you'll find these tiny TINY little brown hard things, like im talking tiny tiny. A little smaller than a poppy seed. If I don't point it out to someone they'd never know. Im happy with the bud. No apparent loss in potency and I came out with a little over an oz dried and trimmed which is way more than I expected. And I can agree with what you said about having the proper setup. I read that some strains just shoot out late flower nanners, even if the genetics are solid so it definitely helps out to stay vigilant and on top of what your plants are doing to avoid any accidental pollination

Pluck and finish unless you have other plants in the area and the nanners keep popping up. If thats the case I'd move it out of fear of it pollinating other plants.
