Figured this would be the right place. I am in Los Angeles County. The law states you can have 6 mature 12 immature and 8 oz dry. What are the guidelines when growing outdoors? Is it allowed? I have looked and looked but, can not find anything. There are list that mention counties were outside is prohibited but, no mention of what rules must be followed if allowed.

Los Angeles County isn't listed so ...

Localities NOT listed below adhere to CA state default guidelines, which are:
6 mature OR 12 immature plants and 8 oz. of dried processed marijuana.

H &SC 11362.77 (b) If a qualified patient or primary caregiver has a doctor's recommendation that this quantity does not meet the qualified patient's medical needs, the qualified patient or primary caregiver may possess an amount of marijuana consistent with the patient's needs.
H&SC 11362.77 (c) Counties and cities may retain or enact medical marijuana guidelines allowing qualified patients or primary caregivers to exceed the state limits set forth in subdivision (a).

Yeah, that is where I looked but there is no mention of outdoor grow. Can I assume it is allowed? You may maintain no more than six mature or 12 immature marijuana plants per qualified patient but, maintain where?

Yes, if you're not in the city you should be fine. If you want you could contact the LA county Sheriff's Department via email at [email protected] or by phone
(323) 267-4848 and ask them yourself.
