First off i just wanna say thx to those that have given me advice in previous threads on lighting , nutes etc and even when the plant was stuck in rockwool lol , nice 1.
Ok, i am 7 weeks from seed and have just flipped to 12/12 4 days ago and changed the 2 x 300w cfls it was vegging under for a lumatek 250w hps as advised .
The bulb is in a cooltube and was about 6" from the top of the plant (ive moved it up now to about 8" until i get some advice). I can hold my hand inbetween the plant and cooltube comfortably, obviously i can feel the heat but it doesnt burn.
I`ve noticed some sweating on some of the leaves which are mainly the ones im worried about (pictured), they are turning a lighter /pale green . Does this look like a deficiency, if so which? Or heat from the bulb? I have just refilled the pot today and increased the flowering nutes to around 2/3rds of the recommended as the ppm`s were very low in the rez at around 200 from 580 4 days ago.
While i had it out of the pot i thought id take some snaps of the roots as well as i noticed a few weeks ago some browness had appeared on them by the net and i have been adding rot stop every complete water change since just in case.
I have also been adding a low dose of DP multi total every water change as i was advised this should clear up the cal/mag deficiency i had earlier on , but have since been told this wouldn`t have helped , i needed to use calmag?
Sorry for the list of questions, just trying to cover everything in one post instead of making multipe threads
1. What is the light green/paleness likely to be?
2. Is the light ok at 6" from the top of the plant ?
3. Should i be looking to get the humidity down at lights out?
4. Am i ok to have doubled the flowering nute dose from 1/3 to 2/3 in such a short space of time?
5. Do my roots look ok?
6. Will the older leaves that suffered from the deficiency and nute burn just die off?
Grow Space 1x1x2m
At lights out the humidity is around 60% , lights on 30%
Lights on temp 79-83F
Lights off temp 76-79F
