Leaf damage? Dtw coco

I edited the post its more like 60 sometimes more up to 70 highest 45 lowest but 50-60rh average.

Its been a while since I played with vpd I guess its not good. My whole flower run is purposely off vpd wise for mold and still get by. Also because it would cost too much to keep tempts below 77F.

My veg plants were all fine with it but this one. It think its getting better though. Cool basement cannot just raise temps and in cool seasons cannot run dehuey or itl freeze. It said opprating temps 61F.

I keep my flower tent vpd at 1.0-1.4. Usually around 65% rh. Temp right now is ~80f. Once stretch is over I'll lower temp to 78. Rh around 62. While the buds are actually still growing, I don't like to make temp and rh limiting factors. I keep good airflow, so I don't worry about pm or mold much.

Thatd be cool if airflow was enough alone but I worry about budrot especually when I see gutatuon on leafs, if it happens in buds its over. I make them as dry as possible. It did mold one time from no airflow but I saw droplets all throughout the buds in the colas.

If you experience guttation it means you're watering too much the humidity is too high and the plants suck up too much water and can't transpire because of the temp and humidity.
It all has to do with your temp. That is way too cold especially under LEDs.

Also, when you have cold temps your roots don't grow and when you have a small root mass and water 3x a day your kinda drowning the roots. They just can't uptake water that fast if they aren't happy. Also if they uptake water but can't transpire that's also an issue. Couple that with higher ec and now your talking about salt buildups etc...

Get your temps up. I use heatmats and I run a heater in my lung room too keep temps up. Or I'll veg with my cmh then flower under led. You just gotta figure it out in your space. But the answer is temps/humidity my man.

Temp 75-80F rh 45-55 fed 4x a day under mars ts1000’s when it molded. If I dont feed 12x a day now that I have box fans on 2nd of 3 settings and rh 33-40 temps 77-85F 80 average, it goes to shit like the photo. I went to 5x, 7x, 8x then 12x is when it stopped drying out and dying out.

When it was gutating on my last run I had a 380w dehuey but rh on that side room spiking. In tent that side room was 45-50rh and was gutating on leafs early flower week 2. Even with box fan but they dried quick therefor.

I took down dehuey and bought two 280w same brand and line of dehueys so that side room has one too. Its on delayed surge protector both on continuous op so it wont blow fuse even if power cuts in and out. Anyway it brought rh down to 34-40% with occasional 45rh or below. No kore gutation before buds started growing.

I cut two plants got one left going for 10wks idk maybe cuting an oz too early stunted it. It always looked fatigued and burned ridges lighter green leafs for heavy feed 12x a day. I put bags around fabric pots and drain trays to make it sealed from enviorment but plant clearly runs through it still but it helps as it bearded but anyless 12x a day I bet it wont.

I aint argueing with ya I appreciate the help I just sometimes have to answer back with more details/questions. It may have to sink in Im actually in rosin jail delaying start.

My enviorment might not be as bad as I said I just busy upgrading and harvesting. In cool months its 60F but overnight, during day I found opening heat vent rise it to 65-70F. People I live with like it cool though but things change. One of us moved stuff down there and like it warmer so yay for my plants.

Il play around with vpd amd see if I can improve but yes some lack of roots and vigor but I think I beat my most bud one plant harvest. So are my other plants almost dry and harvested. This round had same conditions but it still rooted hard with vigor grew better than ever. So many roots I need to bag them for bugs just in case. Drying out before 3x a day fed.

When I plant them it will be bone dry by time I see them if to feed 3x a day. Before box fans they did same thing if to not feed 2x a day minimum. Shit I gots to go press 9oz.

Someone suggested that and I think this helps a lot. It wasnt getting the other side at all but now it does.
What are those spikes called that you have got in the coco mate, (on page 2 post #38) I'm going to setup the exact same irrigation system but I need to know what those spikes are called so I can have the d.i.y dripper rings sitting above the coco

Just spikes I think, I dont remember. Stakes, drip irrigation stakes. It needs to not kink at the halo though or it will take up too much power. Drip holes not too big either.

Tbh those the early medidedicated days, those diy halos are no better than the ones already made. The pre made are much better and less work and cost like the same pretty much 12$.

I just stuff two 1/4” lines into a pot thats sealed up from bugs with a line splitter at each end. So 4 ports of water shooting in 4 dirrections until its rooted enough in fabric pot to just puddle up and work its way down.

Cheers mate, I have got some pre made halo rings but they won't fit around the stalk because my stems are too big. I probably should of put them around the plant when I transplanted a while ago but I forgot, the gap on them just isn't big enough to fit around the stalk so I've got to make my own ones.

Ohh yea I done that before too. A diy one will work if the pot isnt too small ot the halo will kink. Its ok for one or two plants on their own pump but not more than that. Unless you dont mind the extra pumps. They become useful at some point.

If you couldnt use halos because pot is too small then could try what I said. I use narrow tall fabric pots. Its easier to water a smaller plant without worrying about spots not getting any water. Sometimes it can be an issue sometimes its fine. Maybe more a ocd thing.

Ahh limp mode. Maybe from chopping on oz too early. Idk. 9wks 4 days flower. Im planning on delaying cuts so not pressured to chop. Too much work to just chop early but not used to going past 10 wks.

Im allowing them 12 wks max next run and on forward. So if Im not willing to give it 12 now then why plan for it. Ugh this can suck. At least two plants down this the last one so Im mostly paid. Just whites everywhere. The other two clones finished fine 9 wks.

Those were the “this why im chopping” pics not the white hairs I found as I chop almost an oz. So the same thing two wks later. Just not done. Lots of buds that look grossly under developed. Just take my word for it.

Its happened before, they can take 11-12wks to still have white hairs but decided at least I gave it my best shot. That I have perpetual responsibilities. No plants behind this one but meh when its like this just chop at 11 wks. I plan to dry in flower tent 5 days so technicaly can only give 11 wks and 2 days.

When it went 11 or 12 wks I had plants behind them. So I recall they probably could of went 14 wks or more so thats when I learned about limp mode. More than half the time now that I got rid of gnats and aphids, I get it done in 8-10wks when all is perfect.

Sometimes can have like 5 white hairs per plant or little more but pics would fool you, you wouldnt see them. It should be like that in person like literally a dozen white hairs or less but dont lie to yourself, only if you could count 12 or less. Some times can have more, Im a rosin guy and it will help with looks and sharper effects.

But not no grossly undergrown buds.. Damn it.

Yea thats not good. Overnight damage on leafs, not responding to decrease in ec. I could try to do the suggested but its hecoming too much. This will take more than receive.

Im just gonna monocrop use this mother tent as another veg spot and perpetuate new flower tent. Toss this. Try and make my goal of 170gs flower rosin per 11 wks. Just force myself to shut down. Why not its like buying a car from craigslist and having it decades later still. Its runnin baby.
