Leaf discoloration deficiency

I'm having problems with my lower leaves yellowing at the tips then some brown spots. Does this look like a type of deficiency or a pH problem in my soil? I have no idea I'm a noob so I'm learning as I go. I'm hoping someone with more experience could give some input about this. The plant is healthy but has stopped growing all together since this problem started about 5 days ago. I flushed the medium yesterday and it just seems to keep getting worse. The plants are 5 - 6 weeks old under a vivosun 600w led light. My medium is miracle grow performance organics. I just started giving nutrients about 2 weeks ago and this problem started after that. But the plants doubled in size and just quit growing. New leaves haven't grown at all in the past few days. They're a lime green color. I'm using the fox farms trio. I started with 1/4 the dose of grow big and 1/2 the dose of big bloom. I don't have a pH pen so I can't measure the pH after I add the ferts. I water with distilled water with a ph of 6.5. I pHed the runoff and it was around 6.0 or under. I used a ph sample used for aquarium water where you take water and add the solution and judge pH based on the color. I can't do it with nutes added in because it fuck up the color so there's no telling. My soil pH meter is garbage and I don't even know if it works. It says it's a pH of 7.5. It also has a wetness meter and lumens meter that I tested and the meter never moved at all so I don't think it works.. this grow is very barebones and nothing I have even works. She looks good.
Nice dark green color overall. Might be getting lighter on the lower left in the 1st picture.

My 2c.
I would take it slow and see if anything progresses over the next 3 or 4 days.
That leaf has some old damage to it so I would remove it and watch for any changes in the other leaves before doing anything different. Take note of any damage that is already there like the leaf to the right of the one your showing so as not to confuse that with new changes in the leaves.

Don't worry about it if it appears to have slowed down in growth just follow the health of the leaves for a few days.

Nobody uses those meters for PH. They are handy for "some" growers using the moisture or light meter but not the PH.

You can purchase the liquid drops that test from a range of 4 PH to 8.5 from Walmart online or other places including a local hydro store .

Flushing a plant is only considered if there is a build up of fertilizer salts so in your case I can only see flushing as hurting the plant and the soil, not helping. All you did was flush out a soil that was performing quite well up to the point it was flushed.
If it was a mild flush it may not have hurt anything and so I would just continue watering as you normally would with water only and watch it for a few days and see how she does.
Maybe take a few pictures now for your records of the bottom leaves from all angles to compare in a few days.

Compliment a nice plant in MG organic soil.
Make opinions about flushing.

I would agree with the above post Kushash, She looks fine maybe just a light issue. all in all she looks great.
The only thing I might consider is potting up to a bigger pot 5 gallon are about right for you situation.

Thank you for the input! I flushed with about a half gallon of water. Nothing crazy but twice the normal amount of water she's been getting. I was thinking my soil might have a pH imbalance so I flushed it with pH balanced water, about 2 days ago now. It didn't even cross my mind that it may cause bigger problems.. lol, hopefully things will workout I'll get some pH down and up also. My well water is over 7.0 so maybe I'll be able to use that because buying distilled water will get expensive later down the road. Thanks again :)

Never use distilled water and Well water doesn't need to be ph'd in soil
Again PH'ing in soil is a waste of time
You are killing them with kindness aka doing to much

Is distilled water not good or something? I've heard that well water has chemicals that might not be the best for plants. I have no idea but I could definitely use well water if there wouldn't be any problems. I'm just assuming that spring water or something would be better.

Sorry but what is fortified soil? I just started feeding the plants a week ago. They're about 5 - 6 weeks old now. I'm pretty sure they were running low on the nutes that the soil provided. Plus after I started feeding them they doubled in growth until I had this problem.

Your own narrative says that the problems started when you started feeding. Your soil already has nutrients.
 
If it is those lower leaves only, it might just be from water splash. Let them shrivel up, they will be able to be picked off when they are ready to drop.

Right. Or lower the dose some more. Miracle grow typically isn't recommended. At least when I started. But in no way am I saying it can't work great. They have these slow release nutrients in little yellow balls if you dig around. The more you water, the more that's released.
Maybe you have salt build up? Would be better to add nutes to a soil-less medium

Yes but that doesn't mean that the soil is still abundant in nutrients. I could tell that the plant was lacking nitrogen. The problem did start when I began feeding them but I think it could be some other type of deficiency or pH lockout. Before I started to feed the plant was growing very sluggish. After I fed them they doubled in size and I've seen more growth the past week than most of the plants life. So I'm assuming that I was doing something right while also maybe causing another problem. lol

Well water has been supplying gardens almost as long as I have been around :wink:
Soil mediums are chosen for ease of growing and they provide a buffer that alleviates the need to ph well water

This is the organic version of soil that miracle grow has so it doesn't have time release ferts. It's the best organic stuff I could find but it's doing the job so far. I still don't 100% trust them though, they're a shady company for sure.

I didn't know that, I've tried researching the soil I'm using but couldn't find out if it controlled the pH so I've been extra careful with the water I've been using
