Leafy weed whats the deal with that. Anyone who can clear this up???

Anyone who can shed sum light on this. Why is some pot covered in leaves???

In the big city the bud u get there is always all bud no leaves on it what so ever.

I live up north and it seems like every bag i buy is leafy sometimes its a killer high like blueberry and upper grades other times it barely gets u high and is almost always harsh.

You take a hit sometimes its so fruity like fertilized taste you dont notice the leaf ur burning up along with the little bit of bud. Its almost like u forget its harsh.

Just trying to figure out why or how some plants yield all bud with barely any leaf to trim off yet others are covered in leaf.

Ived gotten females with only starting from clone out of the couple of times i grew. Northernlights x purple regular lights. Yet out of the 2 harvests i got a half oz once and over a quarter last time.

Each time i trimmed the buds the best i could. once was outdoors other time was indoors both plants seemed like the grew lightweight airy buds.

So when u trim your basicly left with i pukey bud. ??? Does this depend on the clone/seed.

I mean alot of people will say you dont wanna go back 2 your dealer complaining.

But why is it you see a bud from say g14 weed on hightimes and its covered with crystals all solid looking bud not a leaf in sight. Yet the shit ur dealer says hes got one day is g14 and you look at it and theres all leaf with not as much crystals as what u saw???


I mean if your paying 55-60 even 70 usd an 8th u dont expect a bag of leaves and to stay that u get just as stoned off leafy bud is a false statement.

Leaf does not get u as high as actual bud. Even what they call bud leaf is still not bud and not as strong as bud of the same weed.

Just trying to figure out why.

the reason why the nug on the front of high times doesn't look like the nug you get from your guy is because the nug on high times is properly trimmed and the nug that your guy is getting isn't fully trimmed. It might just be that the grower has so much product that they just do a quick trim, they could use trimming machines that trim most of the leaf off, or they could just be leaving as much leaf as possible and still get away with selling it to fluff up their inventory to make the most profit they can.

That makes sense. But even still when ive grown i got leafy buds when i trimmed i was left with nothing but a thick stick.
