Keep in mind that every time you cut stuff of your plant it will have to heal itself which will take time delaying maturation and also robbing your plant of its solar panels which are detrimental to photosynthesis which etc...
I would only cut of dying leafs or the bottom branches within the first couple of weeks of flowering, once you are comfortable with what you are doing
You can always bend leafs out of the way of bud sites if you have to much time on your hands in your garden
