hi guys i am at the 4th week of flowering. I would like to know if i could cut all the leaves or some of them in order give to my plants the best possible sun light and maybe not to waste nut energy so that the fert can focus only on buds. What do you think?

no... I was on the cut the fan leaf boat last year and did that to a few plants.. I did not do it this year and my crop was so much better in many ways... not to mention it being less work... Also let the plant figure out what it needs it will kill off leaves as it needs to esp during flowering.

i have experimented wit removing fan leaves at diff stages of plant life
i find that fans only needed for growth
and assist part of plant it extends from -fans on stalk for stalk fans on stems for stems
i also found that sum plants start to discard fans after second third of flower
my feelings are fans are not needed after stretch is over

never touch fans sticking out of buds or small short stem fans right below buds
the ones that get frosty -never remove untill trim time

i have taken may plants to bald after 2/3 of flower no negative affect a small positive if you ask me
experiment dont believe shit not even me till you try for self

this used to be a great place to learn
now people talk wit no support say whut they heard not whut they tried

repeat experimen find whut works for you and your setup

I just keep the scruff off the bottom 12-18 inches. The fans will drop naturally. That whole thing about cutting fans for light is a myth, IMO (and others, such as Rosenthal, agree). If you pick fruit (and buds are the fruit of cannabis), you know that you will find some of the juicyest berries hidden under the leaves. The buds themselves don't need special lighting, just the overall plant. The fans actually help the plant to benefit from the lighting and environment; otherwise they wouldn't be there, and in fact do drop as no londer needed.

Think of it this way, If your house was powered with only solar panels, what do you think would happen if you started removing the solar panels? Would you gain more or less power? If you remove the fan leaves, you're essentially taking away energy that the plant needs to reach its genetic potential. If your goal is to grow sub-par cannabis by all means remove the fan leave.
