So I haven't mover her any where new but today as I was watering I noticed the leaves were changing colors at certain angles. It's never done this before and there's nothing different about weather. No clouds ext.... Weathers been a constant 85-92 the last few weeks. It's started 4th week flower yesterday. Gg#4 started from seed. Why is it doing this?

It gets down to about mid to high 50s. Is the color change good or bad. It's my first grow so I'm clueless. Sorry just trying to educate myself for futer grows. Thanks for info.

Colour change is good mate, its what people growing for colour aim for

16c is about when you see the most dramatic change under 10c can start to effect growth but your ok to get down to freezing so long as the plant or roots don`t get frost or frozen they`ll still grow

needs to get over 12/16c during the day or most will start to give up and not grow, some autos take the cold a lot better

But you should be fine

Go look at it with a torch tonight I bet you see blue or purple leaves

if you harvest it at night when its ready it`ll have a bit more colour

bud colour is personal taste but you get other colour changes with age and curing and stuff

I`d say its good, I mean only blue strain I don`t get on with is blueberry but that`s just cos it makes me shiver great when I have a cold or flu... but bluedream haze and a lot of blueberry crosses can give me the shivers, lol

otherwise I love seeing a strain go blue or purple more so if its a strain where blue or purple is rare, red, orange and such are all nice colours to see

only bad colours are if the buds start drying out and stuff way before your ready to harvest but that plant looks nice

don`t know how much work you put into it but looking nice for your 1st grow man, outside can make life easy but look out for slugs and little caterpillars trying to make a home in your buds, any slug like slime remove form the plant right away or it can encourage mould

Hardest thing with outside is stopping people stealing them and keeping the mould/bugs off

if you can do that then you just have to feed them and keep the frost off, sometimes veg them inside in winter.

Looking nice

If she is blue or purple at night slap up a pic...

I will defiantly check tonight. I appreciate the info. As far as the work I've put in is crazy. Started this girl from seed and she sprouted in like 2 days. Planted in a red solo cup for like 2 weeks then transplanted her into a one gallon. Right after that she stopped growing l. Nothing for like over a month. Then all the sudden she shot up a grew like 2 feet in over a month. Then spider mites got her and she almost died. I had to literally wipe down the every inch of her everyday for like a month to get rid of thoes guys along with spraying around where she resides. Brought her back from the dead and killed all the mites. That was a lot of work! To much. I then transplanted her into a 5galon bucket and started feeding her. She shot up another 1 1/2 feet then I had to go out of town so I had me finance feed her, came home and she looked like someone threw in a fire pit. Brought her back again and here we are now.

I use rockwall then get them right into a 1L to 20L pot as soon as they pop is better

If the roots get to the bottom of the solo cup when you transplant them they can stall out from shock for a bit , root juice, seaweed, b-vits, sometimes GA3 can stop that

sounds like you've earned that herb mate, been wanting to try some GG myself but doubt I`ll get any beans for a few years I don`t like to spend too much on seeds if I can help it, lol

No not at all. I was hoping it would just so I could see this but nothing. But I got a cool magnifier glass I put up to my iPhone and snapped some cool pics.

Not even the fan leaves ?

Aww that sucks normally you get a colour change at night

Well then picture how a solar panel or led display work

Plants are green and they absorb red light best, and blue light 2nd best, but there must be an optimal angle past that more light must be reflected and the sky and such is normally blue

So maybe you can just see the different colours of light due to at the far angles your plant is bouncing away more blue than red light ?

Still kinda annoyed there was no colour shift

Maybe she`ll give you some colour shift later in flower

That`s why some people cut at night or keep plants cold for a few days before cutting to get the extra colour shift, I mean you can`t go giving people "purple haze" if its green, lol
