I have a clone that has taken root (quite well, actually). A couple days ago, I left it alone for 8 hours, perhaps too close to my halogen bulb. I have three fluorescent bulbs and a halogen (mainly for heat because it's cold where I'm growing). Anyway, I noticed that the leaves on the top of the plant were curling together like being folded in half. One of them was burned on the edges.
I have since raised the halogen bulb and re-potted it into a larger plastic tub with fresh potting soil. I have been misting it several times a day both before and after I noticed this issue. I'm pretty sure it's not normal for the leaves to fold inward, and I know the burning is not normal. I clipped one of the leaves that looked dead and took pictures for diagnosis.
Please help! My clone will thank you! Pictures of problems:
I do have new growth that looks healthy coming up from the parts below, but I am not yet sure if the growth has been stunted. I really want to keep this plant healthy, so I'm looking for an early diagnosis. I'm fairly certain it was just too close to the halogen bulb and got a bit dry, but since I'm not sure and don't want it to spiral downhill, I'm looking to you guys.
