LED and HID bud shots

This thread will most likely turn to the dark side but I would like to keep it chill and adult like. All I know is when I go to any led growers journal or thread it always turns into a pissing match over the "best light" bull crap. Also noticed cob growers saying that hid buds aren't as dense or frosty. Well I personally haven't seen that to be the case. As many things, I've noticed it is all about the grower and their ability. I personally see led/cob lightning as the next progression in lightning but also believe the low cost and return on investment from hid exceed led at the moment. I'm not sold on a lot of the claims from led growers I've seen here on the forum though.

That being said, all this thread is for is bud shots or plants in full flower. It is just a showcase and not meant to prove anything other than people are growing good shit out there with what ever light they can get their hands on.

So let's see some bud porn and let us know what lightning system you used, watts spectrum bulb etc... Cheers and happy growing.

Sorry I did forget to list that. It's one of my three Mephisto Sour Hound F2 Auto Fem it's wonders on my nerve pain. First time in organic soil and not under T5 for this strain. Just jarred up the first plant the other two will get jarred tomorrow I'm done working today.

What's up, thenotsoesoteric, and RIU! Just thought I would join the party. I have 3 cabs.

90x90cm(3'x3') with 400w hps, and Mars hydro 300w(140w true) Led Total: 540w
60x90cm(2'x3') with Mars 700w(330w true), with 150w CFL and 65w CFL Total: 545w
150x150cm(5'x5') with 1000w dimmable, with dimable 310w actual Mars on one side, 2x Mars 140w actual on the other Total: 1590w capability (run hps@ 750w, 1 led @140w, 2x 140w led) = 1170w output

Here are a couple shots from the (90cmx90cm) cab. It is a Connoisseur Genetics East Coast Girl Scout Cookies. It was a 5th generation clone, and was vegged for 42 days in my auto cab. Flowered for exactly 63 days.It smelled like I was growing mint in the room, but very sweet mint. The flavor was the same, but not too overpowering. It also had a nice chocolaty taste with the mint upon exhale. The high was not couch locky, but it would definitely lay you back in your seat, but still leave you with enough motivation to be very social. It also left the room smelling like some kind of sweet incense smoke instead of weed.

I LOVE THIS SHIT!!!!! One plant yielded 138g dry(1month cure), and was only 45cm tall, but she was almost 90cm around. Had her in there with an Emerald Triangle's G13 x Blueberry Headband. They both were 90cm around lst style, and had to be woven together; kind of like a really pliable puzzle. Didn't get a pic of cookies before harvest, but, here is her cousin.(G13 x Blueberry Headband) She is a great plant in her own right.

Here is my arsenal. Ordered online. Add to a 70/30 coco coir/perlite mix. Watered with 100% rain water. Hope this is not too off topic. If so, I am glad to delete it. Just here to enjoy the show, mates.

Some good looking dank out there! I'm glad to see so many cool cats sharing the bud porn. Just wish we had a way to sample all those buds! Makes me wish I had a new harvest photo everyday but I'm a month and a half out till next harvest so till then I'll enjoy the cornucopia of bud shots shared. Thank you to everybody and KUTGW
