LED for 55$

Was wondering if i should add in a blue and red 30W LED I can get for 50$. I know this is low in watts but only plan to add in veg to help out my T5s. And the price is cheap. I also can get a Red LED but dont know if I should add that in with my HPS.

Any comments or advice would be great.

are you talking about the ones advertised on ebay i think it was 450 LED's and it was 28watts? I emailed that guy to find out the size of the bulbs and he said each bulb is 5 centiwatts. I've read in books that LED's bulbs under 1 watt are useless. It wouldnt hurt to add but idk that it would really do enough to justify even $50.

You should get it. It couldn't hurt... I don't see why the fuck not.

From what I have read, supplementing your T5 or even HPS with LED is a good thing to do. It gives your babies more of the good light spectrum they need to veg or flower. Do not buy from eBay unless you do your research. If it is too cheap then it means the light will be shat. HTG Supply has a spotlight that starts off at $50- I would rather buy from them than some fly by night place- unless you want to fork out some dough, the ProSource seems to be the best LED so far.
Here is the link to HTG Supply's LED lights. I think a lot of peeps on the forum by supplies from them.

I just got an 180 watt LED from ProSource myself and I will be setting up my grow soon.

Save your money and buy a few cfl's. If the led light don't cost you 300.00 or more you are just wasting your time. I have seen them used as the par lights and the panels and you want to bring your plant growth to a crawl then go ahead and use the 50.00 led thats about all they are good for other than making money for alot of people on ebay.
