WBW, do you think there is no benefit to using the grow bulb led as opposed to a regular household led bulb? I'm looking for a single bulb that will perform best for clones. There are so many options that are all so affordable, I don't mind spending a few more bucks if it actually makes a difference. Or does the fact that they are still beginning clones and don't need much light make the point moot, and any low watt led will give them what is required to root?

I use the cree 9w 5000k bulbs from homedepot. Hard to beat for clones. That's all I use.

The bulb @medicinehuman mentioned is better for clones, it is blue light, it will keep your clones from getting lanky and stretchy. The one you found on amazon will work, but the Home Depot one has better spectrum for clone/veg. Make sure to get the 5000k bulb.

LED is LED is LED. Some are beter quality than others, but as long as you get the correct spectrum...An LED is an LED
