LED Grow lighting pros & cons

I'm wanting to build a grow room, I was planning on using HPS lamps, but I'm worried about suspicion due to energy consumption. I'm needing to produce minimum 5lbs "per harvest." Please give me some insight on LED grow lights.. I've never considered them to be a viable option due to lower yields..

I have had all pro's with leds. Yes the light foot print is not that wide but get a couple or so and you will still save money in the long run. Heat is less, no changing bulbs. I got Rapid onyx bloom lights. They have new ones with heatsinks that dont use a fan to cool. Check them out." Rapid led grow lights" You will still need a exaust fan but your room temp will be much less than Hps lights. Plus there is no rf for police helicopters to see, aslo a good bit less in power you will save.

We use Blackdog LED. They have lights with 5x5 footprint. They also have true 1000w LED light to replace 1000w HID. Our favorite thing is you want to run them at temps of about 84, saves on cooling and electricity. We are not affiliated with them but def like them. Feel free to check out our youtube videos
We'll post final result video but I've seen people get 2+ lbs per light off them. Best of luck bud
