Led Light Questions?

okay first i want to start off.. what the hell is up with these led panels on ebay for like 40 bucks shipped.. i know the saying its too good to be true, it says nothing about the watts, but it does say 2x2 area coverage.. anyone use these? is it something good an cheap to use in addition to a MH or HPS light for side lighting? its only like 40-50 bucks type in led grow lights you will see the cheap one..


2nd, what about the UFO lights, they claim they do the same if not better of a 400-600 watt hps/mh light, i have a 400w MH/HPS im using... this ufo light is very small, can it really handle a 5x5x5ft closet just by hanging it from the top?.. i plan on setting up a tent set up with T5's for LED lights..

HTG LED lights anyone know anything.. they have the 12in/12in LED board for 139$ for 50 watts and it says UFO's cost 600 which they dont and rec 2 of these ove a UFO maybe the ad is old... is 1 UFO better then 1 of these 139$ boards? .. i really want a UFO setup for a tent for low heat.. which is best to go with on a budget?.. the 500$ HTG set up is kinda out of the question for now unless i start to pick up business

damn dood. dont do it, thats ALL im gunna say. HPS or MH is ur BEST bet. i am YET to see an UNDER $200 LED grow go well. PERIOD.

yea i feel my dude.. i just bought a 400 watt hps/mh light for my closet, its going to be veg an harvest but i want to get a tent so i can have 2 rooms, i guess the tent could be the veg cuz cuz the 400watt hps i got is in my closet that is 3.75inch wide, 5.5ft tall and 2.5deep so in my opinion 400watt is perfect i think, yea maybe a 600 but 400 should do the trick..

i want to get a grow tent an use a light that puts out low heat an i dont have to run a shit load of duct work an vents, just a fan or 2 an put an intake duct an exhaust duct but very simple an cheap set up for that instead of a whole bunch ya feel me.. an i feel the best for that is LED or high output flour, but i think that the LED that is Red/blue spec together i could use for all stages incase i want to change things, add a light etc.. im sure u understand..

but yea HTG makes good LED set ups, but im just confused is a UFO set up can handle a 4x3-4x5 tent ya know?.. it says it can being advertised, anyone use one?.. can it really do that good or would it need to be on a track that moves it back an forth...

I bought a 100 watt quad band ufo Gen.7 last one made to experiment with because of some saying they love it and most saying not to buy one, it works great for my auto's in veg. But for flowering I just dont see it penatrating the canopy. It is my opinion that it would make a good suplimental lighting. I know alot of folks dont like them, but I would not sell it for the 200.00 I paid for it.
