LED light times

hey guys im just curious about LED lights and the time schedule. Do i need to put the lights to 12/12 night/day for flowering or can i keep them on an 18/6 schedule so i dont need a different room for veg and flower. im just a little confused because my LED has both blue and red spectrums where as HID and HPS is blue and red seperatly. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!

space cadet you will have 2 put them on 12/12 for flowering. 12 hours of light represents the change in day/ night cycle, the plant believes the days are shorter hence time to start flowering. (seasons)... havin both red and blue mix light just means that you dont have to change the light for flowering..
