From browsing most of the LED replies and topics most people will tell you throw it out build one cheaper and better etc, that seems to be most replies. Hopefully someone here has used it once and has some input, or one of the other forums maybe.

Same as marshydro on here. 300w actual. Maybe a bit more. Would not be my choice but I have used 4 300w in the past and they worked.

I actually have a galaxy hydro 600 watt and for a cheap Chinese led panel its not bad for Vegging, i wouldn't suggest you flower being it lacks flower power but can be used as a supplemental light during flower, i bought a optics vero29 250watt for flower and used the galaxy hydro for vertical lighting and seems to be a great combo.

I don't understand why you want to buy a mars?(but maybe it is because I am French!!?)
I did switch to led to have a better light,not a cheap one who perform worse than a hps or a mh,maybe less than a cfl or t5...!So yes it is cheap but there is cheap Cxa and hero's who will perform much better from vegg to flo!
And if you are well prepared and know how to make a hole in a piece of ALU and connect a few wires...than you can diy and build your own panel like I did(and I am hairdresser,so it was not my thing,but everything work so far)

Have you ever tried flowering without the mars,to compare?
I am pretty sure that the mars give you much less gpw than the Vero!
That is why I need to try my 3590 alone for at least 2 session to know what they are capable of,before add anything else to the light(UV,730nm,blue...)because how do you know what a new light improve in your grow?
I don't know but,lets say you pull 300g with both light,but maybe without the mars you can pull 250g so the mars give you 50g...jmo!

Dont have a mars i have a galaxyhydro and its my first grow ever and didnt know much about led brands but as soon as i did about a month after buying galaxyhydro i purchased the optics vero29 250 watt, going to buy the 300 watt vero29 next so probably wont ever get to compare the galaxy to the optics vero.

Had great success multiple occasions using a galaxyhydro "300" watt led light(the light is tough; i bang it around being sloppy and all leds still function) to supplement sunlight and other low watt(150-400) HPS, MH bulbs. Autos did amazing with top to bottom potent trich covered gems... The built in fans on led cooled my small multi light grow room. Approx 1 OZ on a 14 inch plant in 60 days...20/4 using 120 true watt Galaxy LED and 150 watt HPS plus supplemental sun maybe 12 hours a week. Also, while growing 3 photoperiod plants under same lights Strawberry Blues- that in 100 days will yield maybe 3 oz at 15 inch average height. Top 14 inches of plant bud has same strong potency as tops.. I do spend time removing leaves revealing bud locations and positioning plants to make good use of light.. I topped the photoperiod plants at 35 days. Hoping this grow will feed my head for 3-4 months..
You got 28g using 270 watts? Thats not a very good yield

Someone was asking about the effectiveness of an LED Galaxyhydro... I Had Four plants in a 3x2 area; those are the honest results.. approx 28gram per plant. The quality of smoke is noticeably better than any dispensary BULK that i have bought..I have grown cannabis since 1992 and thrilled with producing 4OZ in 60-90 days of sticky one hit bud

Haha 1 oz for 3-4 months of smoke....I WISH.... No offense taken.. I believe in Galaxyhydro product despite it's production origin. I live in a hot climate and a 400w HPS will melt my plants when house temperature is 81.. not too mention the noise in bedroom.. I think light choice is based on growers environmental conditions. Up North, I love that HPS in a cold basement under front porch in September-November running 24/7 to heat space.

You could have pulled minimum 2.5 time this amount with 270w of Vero29!
And those produce less heat than epi diodes!
So if you want more quality weed to smoke switch to cob my friend...you don't have to change anything else!
Maybe no topping and more pinching/training to avoid long vegg (5 weeks max)
