Well gona try my viraspectra again for veg..

Had bad experiences starting seeds with them in past, so started my seeds with my t5 florescent and just put them under the led today, any indicators on hieght or % i should have the light at thanks...

Flowering with hps at the minute but i would love to make the switch to led but wont till i can veg a healthy plant with led first

Temps should be 84 to 86 degrees right now under led. If you are struggling with led for veg, usually it's because your temps are too low.

Is this the right idea as it says 12 mol/m2 and im in a 80x80cm which is 0.64m2 which woukd be around 7mol ??? Have i got this right

That may help some. It's weird going from hid to led. Everything is on its head, it seems.

Yes iv tried this before but with planting seeds from fresh and had bad times, so got the seeds up under the t5s now try under here... i dont want to buy leds to have bad runs of flowering untill am confident enough i understand it

I'm familiar with the concept of mmol's, but I 'm only conversant in ppf and ppfd. Sorry , I'm lame. PPFD should be 250 at that stage I think. Always always check my numbers, though!

These temps are for full intensity flower, you can get away with a bit less in veg as long as your plant is transpiring/drinking properly. Another way to compensate for "cold" led light is hanging a small regular incandescent lightbulb in the grow space for a bit of infrared on the cannopy. Watch out though, too much IR and you get stretchy plants.

250ppfd seem a little high for me right now if my understanding of DLI is correct and this chart is ok to go off il find this video i have watched about DLI
