what light is best for flowering hps or led

LED grow lights are a developing technology. Some are crappy and some are quite effective. The good ones are a lot more expensive than either HPS or MH with a ballast. HPS/MH lights are a proven cost effective light source. The choice of most personal and nearly all pro growers.

You're going to have to do the legwork on your own. There is no definitive answer to your question.

HPS. I have seen comparison grows with led lights in the same area with same clones and the led although a great idea could not compare to HPS

HPS. LED only if you got space and venting issues.

The OP needs a simple, reliable and reasonably priced solution.

My advice is to get a MH or better still an HPS.
