LED vs HPS

Hey guys I've been growing for about 2 years with a 1000w. HPS gunna be moving soon and plan to upgrade my set up. I've delt a lot with heat problems during the summer with hps but it's a breeze in the winter. I like to be able to switch run led during the summer and hps during the winter. I plan to set up a perpetual harvest with 3 to 5 rooms Ina basement. ( not fully planned yet). Can anyone recommend some good led set ups maybe even cob that won't break the bank but will be equal(or as close as I can get) to my 1000w hps. I like to not waste hundreds of dollars to find out the lights I bought are a pos. Or that it won't cover the space I need! I'm open to hearing w.e. you guys are using or any threads u don't mind sharing with me thanks guys!

Stay away from anything on Amazon or Ebay. You will be wasting your money and it would go to better use if you just sent it to me. Check out Timber or CobKits if you don't mind DIY. You may also want to look into Quantum Boards. Plenty of information about them in the LED section.

I'm new to growing just had one grow. But I knew i wanted LED's from the start. So i've done lots of research and wasted some money on blurple lights. I'd recommend strip lights either Samsung or Bridgelux. But if you go to the LED front page there are threads for Bridgelux the Quantum Boards vs AutoCob's, and one for just the QB's and AutoCob's. I've built a 200W Cod light and couldn't be happier when comparing to my 300w actual 142W blurple light. I plan on building a Bridgelux light next, they are coming out with upgrades soon.
