Legal Issues with Growing

Here's a hypothetical situation. Let's say I'm growing 36 plants even though my rec. allows for only 6. The apartment is in my wife's name.

Let's say I somehow get in trouble for the plants. Would she be held accountable as well, or could I take the brunt of the blame since I'm the "patient" with a rec.?

36 would be hard to say I didn't know u would have to wear a wife beater spill some beer on it and say ur a drunken asshole and threatened her life if she said anything

if they want to be dicks they take your wife . and if not and you man up they take you . it all depends . there is no right or wrong answer . I suggest you only do 6 plants just grow them bigger . and if you plan on braking the law put a good lawyer on retainer only cost 5000 bucks a year .

I'll just stick to being a hobbyist and grow my 6 plants, and just to be extra safe, I'll make sure she has a rec. as well. So if we ever feel like it, we can grow 12. I upset my wife often enough without sending her to jail. Thank you everyone!

In most MMJ states (at least in California), you need permission from the landlord to grow MMJ and apartments don't do that! So, even if you had only the six "legal" plants - your landlord could still evict you.
