legal questions regarding grow limits and growing for people

I was wondering if anyone knew what the laws were on growing for other patients in your house. I have a state licensed medical marijuana card but have already reached the limit my card allows me to grow. My friend has his card but nowhere to grow. Could he use my place?

It depends on the state you live in but here in CA you guys can grow together as long as both of you post your doctors recommendations at the grow site and you dont exceed the maximum allowed for the two of you.

awesome, thats good to know. So potentially if you had a bunch of friends with cards, you could legally grow as much as you wanted (aslong as you had all your paperwork and were within the limits?
and what are the grow limits in CA? It seems like such a gray area because, county law can differ from state law (which differs from federal law lol). I've heard things like 6 mature plants or two pounds dried. But i've also read things that say you can grow up to 99 because the DEA just cares about busts with plants over that amount. Is that true at all?

I am medical and I like the four pot in veg and four in flower approach. I was using super soil and found it very cool but I am moving to hydro again for fun. I like the work and the hobby and the ability to tweak. Plus my cat cant sleep in the five gallon bucket like she can a seven gallon soil bag. Oh yeah I grow trees.

i know someone and they said the deal was they are allowed to grow for up to 3 people including himself. 33 plants per patient/ 100 plants max per household
