Strains: Lemon Skunk & Sharksbreath, both DNA feminized; started 2 weeks ago

so here's my setup:

Soil: FFOF mixed with 30% coco, 10% vermiculite, 1/2 cup of bat guano (11-4-2), 1/4 cup Patchamama's earth worm castings (1-0-0), 1/4 cup of kelp meal (2-0-5)
Fertilizers: John's Recipe (3-1.5-2), FF Tiger Bloom (2-8-4), and AN Carboload, DM Saturator (folier), and superthrive as additives with Earth Juice mircoblast.
Light: 250w compact hps
Air circulation: 6" generic inline fan w/ carbon filter, but it's not setup yet. i'm setting it up next week when i receive my mylar tent.

LS and SB, respectively:

ok, so i soaked the seeds over night and afterwards i threw threm straight into party cups with only FFOF and a bit of coco. the lemon skunk has been transplanted because she was growing so fast, and the sharksbreath is just weird, i'll stick her in a bigger pot within the next few days

i think the sharksbreath is a bit strange due to it's basil like leafs and how it began to grow as if i topped her or something, LS looks much more vigorous

let me know about my soil mix, if anything i think it might be a bit N heavy, also i added the coco mainly for volume

gotta love them UFOs from the 'Tude

also, let me know what you think about that sharksbreath, it looks like i'm giving her too much of something even though i haven't given her much of anything.
i might just flush the little cup tomorrow and add maybe .1ml per quart of fert or something light like that.. mabye it's over watering..

comments are encouraged!

You have some good soil going I wouldn't get into nutes yet, let them get bigger, an older.

And you do have some good N running in the soil. a flush wouldn't hurt. Use rain water for it. It is the best if you can collect it.

got the dna lemon skunk going too. I have a mother plant in flower, only a week into flower. I have taken cuttings from the mother and made clones in my cloner, and then I moved them to the the hydro vegger. They look like they have a fair amount of sativa in them and they cloned easy enough.

Kind of a cool description about a guy named Eddie in Las Vegas who got the seeds and did this and that. I got my one seed as a freebee, I bought dairy queen from TGA Sub Cool. I also got Rocklock from DNA going, smells really peppery.

good luck bro

interesting, it's nice to know they are good to clone, i've never cloned but was thinking about doing it with the LS, and to be honest i didn't even realize it was mostly sativa!

hah, whatever.

nice, i'm looking into getting the trio as well,

at what age did you top?

so now that i've realized this is a sativa, too lazy too look up the genetics of a freebee i guess, i'm going to do some kind of pruning/bending.
i personally have more experience with LST

transplanted sharksbreath into bigger pot, added some superthrive.

i had noticed that on some of the leafs there were chunks bitten off but i didn't believe it at first, i thought it was something i did, ie. pinch a leaf against the rim of a plastic pot, i spray every so often with that FF indoor pest spray and i sweep every chance i get. the grow space is very clean

yet i found a fat ol' nasty insect sitting on SB main stem, chillin. that asshole chewed a few leafs but i doubt he could have ever done too much damage by eating, you can notice it in the pictures

awww reminds me of my baby lemon skunk!thats a very stable strain.but so far so good no need for any nutes yet. im gonna try to get a new pic of my lemon skunk up.my SB is still bein a shark bitch but shes makin progress.extremly slow!been flowering over 10 weeks and my lemon skunk looks way better after 6. i get tempted just to slit that bitches throat and "cut my losses" but ill giver her another week.im gonna put a pic or 2 of my sb up too.give me like a day or 2.
