Less Goverment More Freedom

more government has meant infinitely more freedom, especially for our seniors. much easier to pursue your desires later in life when you're not worrying where your next can of cat food is gonna come from.

"more government" has certainly meant more freedom for blacks in america, who now don't have to face the prospect of driving to the next town over because desert dude or ginwilly or twostrokenut refuse to serve them lunch at their diner.

I've heard about that. No inspections since the 1990's. can't blame that on anything but inept or corrupt state inspectors. Either they were to lazy to go look, or paid not to.

Buck, you know how you say one snow storm does not global warming debunk? One leak at a storage tank does not mean there is too little, or to much regulation.

The regulations are inlace, this isn't the fault of anything but the company and the humans assigned to go regulate.

sometimes a whole bunch of chemicals get spilled into the water supply or a whole bunch of oil gets poured into the gulf due to lack of enforcement of a regulation, thus less regulation is better?

i don't get that logic.

funny how you guys cry endlessly about 4 deaths in benghazi, but turn the other cheek to 29 dead coal miners in west virginia.

well, not funny. more like pathetic, sad, and transparent.

but all those negative qualities of yours do amuse me greatly.

I doubt the fools that proudly display this sticker on the back of their trucks realize that this is the Freedom you get with less goverment.

Hope those facts don't have too liberal of a bias.
I'm not sure how you correlate government regulations and freedom.
The penalties incurred by freedom industries from the regulating body of the government who will impose the fines, will pale in comparison to the legal liabilities the company will face from lawsuits. To say people who are pro small government are not for a cleaner environment is really an empty accusation. What's wrong with replacing government regulations with laws, that have strict penalties, including criminal penalties for negligence? When government imposes and collects fines from the violating companies, they do not disburse that money to any of the victims, it goes straight to government.
Same thing when you are fined by local, state or federal drug agencies, the money goes to the government
agency who busted you.

Government by definition is the opposite of freedom. You may want to get x-rays, that wound on your head appears to be affecting your cognitive abilities.

yes, if regulations are getting ignored, we should put procedures and safeguards into place (some might call those things regulations) to make sure they are not ignored.

but that doesn't appeal to you much, because you really don't care about 29 dead coal miners in west virginia. just part of the job, right?

and let's face it, mitt never told you to be outraged about those deaths like he did with benghazi, so you simply won't get mad about it.

Freedom industries will drag out litigation for years, pay off who they can on the cheap. They file bankruptcy.
Bank on it
basically no one will get shit

My original point is were do we get more freedom with less goverment. I'm not getting more, but these big corps are. The freedom to pollute, to exploit and to rob.
