Less heady strains?

Haven't had a smoke since 1987. That being said I've got several grows going. One in flower one ready to flip after harvest and another behind that. My work has random testing and I had kids to raise. Now knocking on the door of retirement. My kids are suggesting when I break back over to the wild side that I should start with a milder strain. I guess I managed to raise them somewhat right for them to care enough to mention it. Any suggestions for a strain that won't send a lightweight to the sanitarium? They're afraid I'll BBQ the few cells I have left. Delta 8 was mentioned during the conversation. Thanks.

Look into C99 by female seeds

You might have to try a few to really know.
I go for flavor and smell when I try new stuff, not necessarily thc, and when the terpenes are enjoyable I find the high is too.

I personally think it's all a personal preference for the most part. Try a few different kinds and take it slow, so no gravity bongs ;)

**Edit: congrats on the retirement!!

Get some swag from the “ kids “ and have a family sesh …. Take a drag on a fattie - wait 15/20 minutes .
If you get chill and hand kids your credit card while laughing , then all good.

Or if you see black helicopters and cops hiding in trees then stick to booze.

Dang thanks for all the responses. And the humor. Had to look up the gravity bong. Age is showing. Reminded me of the old power hitter. We put Grandma to bed with that thing in the day. Then I see it's still being made. I'm truly grateful for all the posts. Now if only my stupid state (VA) will allow seed purchases.

Maybe grab a pre rolled pack from dispensary ( if around your locale ) and judge what is tolerance.
Even a simple edible ( cookie or bar ) meter your dosage and get chill.

Here is something hard to find
People selling flower and offering the same in clone
Want a business model that sells in a competitive market
Grow dank (proven) and offer cuts of the same plant
People will beat a path to your door
OP it is such a personal preference thing
Relying on others preference or taste really makes it limited
Don’t even get me started on pheno variations
Wild side has my confused
Can you elaborate?
