Let me know how they look.

Hey everyone I am new here and this is my first attempt at a grow.
I'm using 3 t-8 fluorescents with warm bulbs in my vegetive area and a 400 watt HPS in my flowering area. I used a reflective insulation behind 2 mil. Mylar on the walls. Six of the plants are currently 30 days old which I started from seed 5 of them are White Widow, 1 is L.A. Woman which when it sprouted came up as two separate seedlings. The tall one in the back on the right is a clone I bought around the same time that the other plants started to break the soil the dispensary said it was an afghan. I unfortunately went kind of fast on starting this grow and didn't do my research on soil. I bought Miracle Grow moisture control soil and it retains way to much water. Can I just knock off the excess soil around the root ball when I transplant them into a bigger container? right now they are in 2 gal. buckets wrapped in black plastic I plan on putting them in 5 gal. containers ASAP.

just today i transplanted some girls because to soil was to fine "not enuff oxygen" and i allways knock off the soil around the root ball if its shit soil.. it will take alot more time for them to recover from stress tho

What type of soil do you use, your own mix or store bought? A lot of the threads that I have read said a good Organic fertilizer mixed with some perlite is decent.
