Okay so I've been hesitant to start a journal because i usually pop reg seeds and i'd hate to upset everyone (including myself) to make a journal and eventually find out they're males. I like to keep things very simple with my grow, temperatures being my only enemy.
I tried germing an unknown femmed seed from dinafem i got about a year and a half back. It's been sitting in a refrigerator since then. I did the paper towel method (which has yet to fail me). After 10 days however, no root. However, being optimistic, i planted it in medium anyway. I did manage to pop a femmed DNA Genetics LA Woman so that is what this grow will be centered around. I'd prefer to do one plant (possibly two) at a time because 1. i'm not a heavy user and 2. if i cant control the environment enough i'll only lose out on one femmed seed/plant.
Tent: 36''W x 20''D x 63''H
Fan: 1 x 400CFM on controller as exhaust. Intake will be passive. Due to low temps this winter i will need to keep the fan throttled low enough to keep temps inside warm but high enough to get fresh air in.
Seedling Medium: FF Light Warrior (solo cup)
Transplant Medium: FF Ocean Forrest (~3 gallon pot, once the nutes are depleted i plan on adding the FF trio pack)
Lighting: 1 x 135 LED Blackstar, 4 x 23w (6500k) vegging, switching to 4 x 23w (4300k) for flowering. If temps drop too low i'll be swapping everything out for a 400w HID.
I can't say i'm much of a noob at this but i know i have a lot to learn. I'm more of a learn first do second kind of person. For that reason criticism is welcome.
To maximize space in the tent i turned all of the fan inlet flaps inside out. The exhaust fan is external to the tent. There is plenty of negative pressure granted its not all that necessary for my situation.
