i was looking at these socket and power cord set ups and they said it was a 5kv id that like the volts? if so how do I convert it?
(Light) anyone know what 5kv means

5K=5000 volts.That socket is for use with a HID bulb.Either a hps or Mh bulb with a mogul base.OPH

so I could use a 400watt grow bulb in it samely and effectively? with 2 of these lites could i use as my primary maybe only sun/light sorce?

5000 volts is just the capacity. You'll be running 120 or 220, so that socket might be able to handle your load....
