light change for flowering

am on a 20-4 hour light/dark schedule. to induce flowering i need to drop the light down to 12/12. do i do that gradually over a few days? or do i just turn it from 20 hours of light per day to o12 hours of light the next day?

Just change it to 12/12.

Just change to 12/12 and it makes no difference when the 12 dark and 12 light are.

I just switch to 12/12 immediately, never had a problem, I really don't think it's necessary to gradually change.
