Light Cycle Question

Hi,

I have planned power outages in my country which last for months on end.

Currently I have a grow where I am flowering my plants, 6am - 6pm light cycle.

For example, the power went out today at 12 so my plants only got 6 hours of light. I have seen on other forums that I should leave the lights off until the next usual day (6am).

This is now happening daily, and I wanted to know if I restarted my light at 2pm-6pm when the power comes back on, will this put my plants back into veg (assuming they get 12h of darkness from 6pm-6am again.

If anyone knows, please let me know! Thanks!

Diff light cycles every day is gona mess up your plants. Using half the amount of hours is going to drastically reduce your yeild and the plants will likely be stretchy and leggy/larfy.

Is it possible to place the plant in a bright room of the house/by a window?

I would look into a decent size deep cycle 12v battery and charger and run some 12v CFLs or LEDs directly from it as required. Mostly just to keep them in cycle, more than providing growth.
