Light Cycle

OK, I'm preparing my first grow, if i start seedlings on 24hr with flourescents, would switching them to 18/6 with a metal halide hurt them, or cause the plant stress? I guess what Im saying is can i start the seedlings on 24hr with the flourescents and switch them to 18/6 with the metal halide. will it cause stress, or will the plant be ok

it should be fine mate. jus be carefull with the fckn heat. do u have good ventilation fo da MH?

I started my seedlings with CFL and after 2 weeks switched to MH for 18/6. No problems whatsoever. Just be careful about the MH distance and heat.
